>>What they've recorded. Las Guitarras de España's debut full-length CD, ¿Donde Esta Paco?, was released at a concert at The Hot House in Chicago in Fall 2000. Their 2nd record, Ida Y Vuelta, was released to standing room only crowd at the same venue this past June. Both albums are available in stores and online at Amazon.com. >>What you'll get at a live show. Las Guitarras de España performs original compositions as well as traditional flamenco-based music. You may get the core band members or a full ensemble inlcuding guest musicians (including Sweet Pickle Music artist Julie Goldberg) and a cast of flamenco dancers. Whatever the lineup, the show is bound to be chock full of energy and stellar performances.

>>Who Las Guitarras de España works with. The core members of Las Guitarras de España have worked with a host of performers in many diverse settings: Dame Libby Komaiko and The Ensemble Español, Olé Olé Puppet and Dance Theater, The Civic Orchestra, Rose Polenzani, The Weird Sisters, Ten Tongues, and Las Toallitas, Sweet Pickle Music artist ANTJE, pop flamenco gropus Kamino and Kaskara, and Felipe Lopez. Members have studied classical and flamenco guitar as well as Hindustani, Middle-Eastern, African, Afro-Carribean, and Brazilian music.

>>Awards and Accolades. Original music on ¿Donde Esta Paco? was chosen for inclusion on HBO/Cinemax presentation “Zoe Loses It”. The group also composed music for and performed in the world premiere of Shifting Landscapes by Olé Olé Puppet and Dance Theater.
